DEED: Breeden to Hoggins, 11 Jul 1826 - Gallatin Co, KY -------------------------------------------------------- Contributed to the USGW Kentucky Archives by: Phyllis Hill "phill@redrock.net" 24 Aug 1998 -------------------------------------------------------- DEED: William & Mary Breeden to William Hoggins, 11 Jul 1826 Gallatin Co., KY Book page 78 This Indenture made and entered into this 11th day of July in the year of our Lord 1826 between William Breeden and Mary his wife of the County of Sangamon and State of Illinois of the one part and William Hoggins of the County of Gallatin and State of Kentucky of the other part witnesseth that the afore- said William Breeden and Mary his wife for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained and Sold aliened and conveyed and by these presents Doth grant bargain and Sell alien and convey unto the said William Hoggins a certain tract or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the aforesaid County of Gallatin on the waters of the biglick fork of Eagle creek being a part of James Frenchs Survey of 15913 acres and bounded as follows To wit Beginning at a beech and two Sugartrees in the division line of May and Strange Thence S22E.124 poles to two black ash trees and hickory Corner of Wm. Thompson's land Thence Thence N68 E 1291/4 poles to two beeches and dogwood Standing between two Sinkholes Thence N22W124 poles to a Stake in James Hoggins land Thence with the same S68W1291/4 to the Beginning To have and to hold the aforesaid land and premises unto him the Said William Hoggins his heirs Exrs Admrs or assigns to his and their only proper use and Behoof forever and the aforesaid William Breeden and Mary his wife their heirs Exrs or Admrs the aforesaid land and premises unto unto the aforesaid William Hoggins his heirs Exrs Admrs or assigns against the Claim of Claims of all and every person or persons claiming in through or under them the said William Breeden and his wife Shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Testimony whereof the aforesaid William Breeden for himself and Said Mary his wife by her Atty in fact Set their hands and Seals the day and year first above written.
