Obituary: Wheeler: GallatinCo: 1993 Submitted by Roy Wheeler email rwheeler@jcc-uky.campuscw.net Ralph Wheeler Ralph Wheeler, 88 of Sanders died Sunday morning 10 January 1993 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton Ky. He was a retired farmer and nurseryman and a member of the Sanders Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Hazel (Miller) Wheeler; daughters, Atha Stewart of Sanders and Grace Jones of Warsaw; a son, Roy D. Wheeler of Carrollton; sisters, Lura Lewis of Carrollton and Daisy Marksberry of Ghent; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Carlton-Lowder Funeral Home, Warsaw. Visitation will be there from 4 to 8 tonight. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Gallatin County Life Squad. Notes: Ralph was born 20 March 1904 in Ky., the son of John Morgan and Maud (See) Wheeler.(Maud died five weeks after his birth) Ralph was raised by his grandparents, James W. and Margaret Ann (See) See. He began school in the Drury Chapel School in the Hoggins Voting District.
