MARR: Gardner & Breeden, 1845, Gallatin Co submitted by "Phyllis Hill" GALLATIN COUNTY, KENTUCKY MARRIAGE BONDS Know all men by these presents that I John M Gardner and Ab Breeden are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the just and full sum of Fifty pounds Lawful money to the payment of which well and truly to be made unto the said Commonwealth, we bind Ourselves our heirs &c jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed and dated this 13 day of January 1845. The condition of the above obligation is such That whereas a marriage is shortly to be solemnized betweeen the above bound J M Gardner and Mildred A Breeden. Now should there be no Lawful Cause to Obstruct said Marriage, then the above obligation to be void. Else to remain in full force.
