GALLATIN COUNTY, KENTUCKY MARRIAGE BONDS

Know all men by these presents that I John M Gardner and Ab Breeden are
held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the just and
full sum of Fifty pounds Lawful money to the payment of which well and
truly to be made unto the said Commonwealth, we bind Ourselves our heirs &c
jointly and severally firmly by these presents.  Sealed and dated this 13
day of January 1845.  The condition of the above obligation is such That
whereas a marriage is shortly to be solemnized betweeen the above bound J M
Gardner and Mildred A Breeden.  Now should there be no Lawful Cause to
Obstruct said Marriage, then the above obligation to be void.  Else to
remain in full force.

To the Clark of the Galatin county cort    This is to Surtify that I am
willing that John M. Gardner Shale obtain lisens to marry my daughter
Mildred an given under my hand this 13 day of January 1845

To Any Minister of the Gospel legally authorized to solemnize marriage I
John T Robinson Clerk of the County Court of Gallatin County in the State
of Kentucky do certify that J M Gardner hath entered into bond with
security in my office for the Purpose of obtaining a license for a marriage
with Miss Mildred Ann Breeden daughter of Judith Breeden   She having
certified her consent thereto
     This is therefore to license and permit the said J M Gardner and
Mildred A Breeden to join in Marriage agreeably to the forms and customs of
the society they may select and this shall be their Authority for so
doing--Given under my hand as Clerk aforesaid this 13 day of January 1845
