Dutch Revenboer Deed Book 45, page 23 & 26 This deed of conveyance made and entered into, this the 28 day of December, 1925, by and between SIMON TANKERLSEY and his wife, OLLIE TANKERSLEY, of Lancaster, Garrard county, KY, RR #1, and NANCY TANKERSLEY, a widow, and W.H. TANKERSLEY, a single man, of Paris, KY, as parties of the first part, grantors, and TOM BAKER, of Crab Orchard, Garrard county, KY, party of the second part, grantee. WITNESSETH: That forand in consideration of the sum of $600, paid and to be paid as follows: $300 is now cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and for the residue of $300 the said TOM BAKER has this day executed his two promissory notes for the sum of $150 each, and due and payable on January 1st, 1927, and January 1st, 1928, respectively, bearing interest at the rate of 6% per annum from January 1st, 1926, until paid, interest payable annually, with a lien retained on the land herein conveyed to secure the payment of the said notes and interest, said notes containing the usual maturity clause and clause granting privilege to pay before maturity. Said notes are by agreement of all parties hereto made payable to SIMON TANKERSLEY and he is given full power to transfer or release same but it is agreed that said notes shall not be transferred and assigned to any one else by the said SIMON TANKERSLEY until after they shall have become due. 3 TRACTS involved.
