Ky, received a pension for his service in the Revolutionary War. He served as a private for 3 years beginning in 1777. He entered service in Culpeper Co. Va and was in the battles of Brandywine, Germantown and Monmouth. As a result of this service he was granted a pension of $80 per year beginning on 4 Mar 1831. Following his death on 17 Apr 1833, his wife, the former Mary ARNOLD, applied for and continued to receive the pension until her death in 1841.
