Clifton LANCASTER - Ida Rae Clifton, 78, of Southway Drive, died Friday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 13, 1920, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Moody Hurt Preston. She was a factory worker and a member of Assembly of God Church in Kettering, Ohio, and attended Faith Fellowship Church, Danville. She was the widow of Charles Clifton. Survivors include three sisters, Ruth Turner, Edith Baker and Grace Peel, all of Lancaster; four half-sisters, Leoma Turner, Nina Gilliam and Patsy Gilliam, all of Lancaster, and Bonnie Ledford, of Stanford; three half-brothers, Virgil Preston and Kinnaird Preston, both of Mitchellsburg, and David Preston of Lancaster. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Revs. Rudy Henderson and Daryl Hodge. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Dayton, Ohio. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today.
