OBIT: Dorsie L. Miller, 2002, Garrard Co. & OH From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 4 Dec 2002 LYONS, Ohio -- Dorsie L. Miller, 69, of Lyons died Sunday at Ohio Hospital in Toledo. Born Aug. 6, 1933, in Paint Lick, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ada Sparks Ballard. She was an employee of Fulton County Emergency Medical Service and had worked at nursing homes. She was a member of Lyons Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth "Tony" Miller; a daughter, Teresa Owczarski of Southland, Mich.; two sons, Rick Arnold of Toledo and Jeff Gilvin of Mannsfield, Ohio; two sisters, Opal Lay of Lancaster and Mary Ruth Speaks of Lexington; three brothers, Edward Ballard, Glendon Ballard and Bobby Ballard, all of Paint Lick; three grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home by the Rev. Brent M. Pomeroy. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery. Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today.
