OBIT: Hadgie Lewis, 2002, Garrard & Mercer Co. ------------------------------------------------------------ From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 29 Dec 2002 LANCASTER -- Services for Hadgie Lewis, 66, of Ashley Camp Road, Burgin, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Spurlin Funeral Home by Floyd Henry. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. She died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Nov. 7, 1936, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Mary Belle Yocum Henry. She was a homemaker and member of Harrodsburg Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Morgan Lewis of Harrodsburg; three sons, Jerry, Dean and Roger Lewis, all of Harrodsburg; four brothers, Tommy and Joe Henry, both of Lancaster, and Floyd and Michael Henry, both of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Judy Ballard of McKinney and Louise Hayes of Owensboro; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Lewis. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today at Spurlin Funeral Home.
