Subject: [KYF] OBIT: Owsley COTTON, 2002, Garrard Co. From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 31 Mar 2002 LANCASTER -- Owsley B. Cotton, 88, of Cave Spring Drive died Saturday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital. Born June 3, 1913, in Garrard County he was the son of the late Ira and Susie Long Cotton. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Lancaster Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Ross Cotton; a son, David Cotton of Nicholasville; a daughter, Judith Ann Clark of Atlanta; a brother, Ralph Cotton of Lancaster, five grandchildren and eight great-grand- children. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Barry Jeffries. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Mr. and Mrs. Everett Casey, J.W. Price, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Sherrow, JoAnn Grow, Edna Belle Estes and Roy Noe.
