   "The first regular pastor of any church in Lancaster was Samuel Finley
   before 1813 a Presbyterian who was well known for his ability as a
   teacher."
   
   Correspondence with Bosworth Memorial Library, College of the Bible,
   Lexington, KY.
   
   Has notes on Moses Collier - at foot of one version of Collier will:
   "John Finley to Ellenor sell out 1806; David to Elizabeth Mounce sell
   out in 1808; also sell 342 3/4 acres on Dicks River, 1812, to Arthur
   Thompson."
   
   Clark notes: "Thos Clark to Martha Finley 1855 at residence of Thos.
   Clark."
   
   Ethelbert Kenedy admr of Huston Finley in Jan. 1857. Finley's heirs
   were:

   Cloe - infant
   
   Land description of David Finley to Arthur Thompson in 1812; then
   Thompson heirs to Wm. Hoskins in 1828; Hoskins to John S. Hoskins
   18??; J.S. Hoskins to Richard M. Robinson in 1858. "The old road ran
   to the rear of the Hoskins or Richard Robinson farm prior to 1820 also
   to the rear of Fork Church leaving the present road at that place."
