Revolutionary War Pension Application Information for Preston and Eliza 
Hampton he supposedly enlitsted in Loudoun County, Virginia.  Married August 
1779 Loudon County, Virginia, Eliza, maiden name not given.  She born June 20, 
1754.  He died July 10, 1832.  Eliza applied for pension April 19, 1839, in 
Grant County, Kentucky.  They had the following children:

Elizabeth b 31 May 1780
Edward b 17 Jun 1782
Nancy b 12 Aug 1784
Polly b 12 Mar 1786
James b 17 Jun 1788

In 1855 Mrs. Mary Spencer was referred to as a daughter.
