David Ray Horne, 73, of Airport Road died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional 
Medical Center.
Born Sept. 21, 1928, in Grant County, he was the son of the late Orville and 
Zella Ireland Horne. He was a retired employee of Southern Railway, a member of 
Junction City United Methodist Church, Retired Railway and Veterans Club, and 
Boyle County Genealogical Association. He was a 1947 graduate of Junction City 
High School.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Schlachter Horne; two sons, Michael D. Horne 
of Paris and Barry W. Horne of Danville; a brother, James D. Horne of Junction 
City; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will be in 
Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may go to Junction City United Methodist Church.
