Armes dies at Louisville Dr. George W. Armes, 73, for fifty years a practicing physician died at his home at Leitchfield Monday moning. A native of this county, Dr. Armes was graduated from the Medical College, University of Louisville, with the class of 1890. He was a member of the American Medical Association, Kentucky Medical Association, and Grayson County Medical Society, and served as an officer at times in the last two groups. He also served as health officer of Grayson County for many years. Dr. Armes served as director of the feeble minded institute at Frankfort under Gov. A. E. Wilson and Gov. A. O. Stanley. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Armes; one daughter, Mrs. George W. Bailey, Akron, Ohio, and a son G. H. Armes, Los Angles (sic), Calif., a sister, Mrs. Commodore Willis, Louisville; two brothers Robert Armes, Louisville; and James Armes, Millwood, Ky. Funeral services and burial were held at Leitchfield, Tuesday.
