Chaney Homeplace Cemetery in Green County, Kentucky.
The cemetery is on Pleasant Run Church Road, just off Hwy. 68 near the Taylor County line.  
Just a little west of town of Black Gnat.

Mary A. Chaney "Mother"    
1840-1928

Lee Gills

Lee Gills was the daughter of Samuel & Mary Roberts CHANEY.

This cemetery is located on a little ridge, surrounded by a fieldstone fence and secured by 
a rusty gate.  Samuel & Mary's stone is overturned.   A fieldstone chimney from their house 
is still standing nearby. (Nov. 2000)
