GRAVES and ANNIE E GRAVES his wife of the first part and JAMES G. HAYES of the second part witnesseth that the parties of the first part for and in consideration of Forty DOllars cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have this day sold and hereby conveyed to said J G Hayes their ------interest of T.W. Gaines and W. R.(B?) Gaines in the following described land it being the dower laid off to the widow of W. E. Gaines deceased in the lands owned by said decedent at his death containing about forty six acres and bounded as follows to wit Beginning at a maple a corner in the old line of the original survey thence with a line of the original survey ...E114 poles to a Lagoon thence with another of the old line N70 W163 poles to an oak in the field thence 211 1/2 E638 poles to the beginning. It being the same interest conveyed to me by S.H. Woodring Deputy for T.C.Edwards Sheriff of Green County KY to the said J G Hayes his heirs and assigns together with the appurtenances free from the claims of myself my heirs and assignees forever.
