Nathaniel OWENS and Nancy his wife of Green Co. Ky. to David PREECS of same
county. 500 Acres in county of Green on Little Brush Creek.

Elizabeth STOVALL will. Son George STOVALL and his sons James Henry and John.
Daughter Jane C. WINTERSMITH. My  sons Wm. S. now dead, John, George and
Thomas . Written Mar. 8, 1835. Witnesses Thomas RETTASSHALL (BETTASSHALL?) and
Beverly MARSHALL.

Deed Book 2 p. 345
William COAKLEY. Wife and children mentioned but not named. Says son Franklin
is incapable of getting his living by hard labor. June 17, 1834. Witnesses
Thomas F. EDWARDS, Thomas STEARMAN, Thomas STEARMAN.

Deed Bk. 7 p. 226
I, Alexander CARSON of Green Co. and state of Ky. reposing special trust and
confidence in the integrity of my friend Nathaniel HERNDON of the Indiana
Territory and Franklin Co. do ordain, constitute and appoint him my lawful
attorney … to demand, receive, sue for and recover the following negro slaves
to wit- Harry, Amy, Lucy, Sam, Joe, Bill, Little Amy and Little Ben which
property and negroes I have been unlawfully deprived of by machinations of a
certain James ROBERSON who carried them away to the Indiana Territyory… dated
Feb. 21, 1816

Deed Book 7 p. 227
Sally TAYLOR of Green Co. Ky. reposing trust in my son William TAYLOR of same
county and state… appoint him my lawful attorney to ask, demand and receive of
a certain James MARTIN, admin. Of James ROBESON, deceased in Gibson Co.
Indiana Territory a certain sum of money which said Robeson was due me …
