Davenport a private of Captain John G. Evans, Company (F), 21st Regiment of Kentucky Fort Volunteers who was enrolled on the first day of October one thousand eight hundred and sixty one to serve three years or during the war, is hereby discharged from the service of the United States this third day of January 1864, at Shell Mound, Tennessee by reason of reenlistment (No objection to his being re=enlisted is known to exist *) Said Elza A. Davenport was born in Green County in the State of Kentucky, is twenty eight years of age, six feet, 0 inches high, light complexion, hazel eyes, light hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a farmer.
