F, 21st Ky Vol Infty at Camp Ward, Ky. Know ye that Elzy A. Devinport a Corporal of Captain Jasper F. Morton's company (F), 21st Regiment of Ky Veteran Infty Volunteers who was enrolled on the fourth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty four to serve three years of during the way, is hereby discharged from the service of the United States, this ninth day of December 1965 at Victoria, Texas, by reason SO No. 234, dated Hd Casle DT in pursuance to SO No. 62, Par. 5, dated Hd Qrs, Dept. of Texas Oct 23 1865, his services being not (illegible words). (No objection to his being re=enlisted is known to exist*) Said Elzy A. Devinport was born in Green County, in the State of Kentucky, is twenty eight years of age, 6 feet, (blank) inches, light complexion, Hazel eyes, light hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a farmer.
