Stucker April 26, 1918-Jan. 1, 1997 HARDINSBURG -- Dennis E. Stucker, 78, Hardinsburg, died at 10:58 p.m. Wednesday at his residence. Born in Greenburg, Ky., he was the son of Dennis W. and Lillie (Utz) Stucker. He married Mary Pavey Banks on Feb. 14, 1950, and she survives. He was retired from Schmidt Cabinet, New Salisbury, and was a U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force veteran, retiring after 30 years service. He was a member of Hardinsburg Christian Church, American Legion Post No. 0777 and the Indiana Sheriffs Association. Surviving in addition to his wife, Mary Stucker of Hardinsburg, are one daughter, Cheryl Darlene Stucker of New Albany; one stepdaughter, Marjorie Griffith of Hardinsburg; one brother, Carlyle Stucker, address unknown; two sisters: Faye Reed of Jeffersonville and Ruth Hamby of New Albany; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, his parents, one sister and three brothers. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hardinsburg Christian Church with the Rev. Steve Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in Hardinsburg Cemetery.
