WILL: Richard A. Buckner Recorded in Will Book 3, page 127, Green County Courthouse, Greensburg I, Richard A. Buckner, make this as my last will and testament. First, I desire all my debts be paid, the remainder of my estate both real and personal in this state and elsewhere I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Elizabeth L. Buckner, witness my hand and seal this November 23rd, 1847. Richard A. Buckner Test Joseph E. Akin Luther A. Buckner Anthony L. Buckner I, Richard A. Buckner, do make this a codicil to my said last will and testament set out - I appoint my sons, Aylett Buckner, and Richard A. Buckner, Jr., executors of this my said last will and testament and this codicil thereto requiring the county court of Green County to let them act without bond as such hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time before this made and declared this will and codicil to be may last will and testament, witness my hand and seal this 28th day of November 1847. McCorkle At a County Court commenced and held for Green County at the Court house in Greensburg on the 17th day of January 1848 the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Richard A. Buckner Deceased was produced into court and proven by the oaths of Joseph E. Akin and Luther A. Buckner, the subscribing witnesses thereto to have been signed, sealed and delivered by said Buckner as his last will and testament, and they believed him to be in his perfect mind and memory at the time of signing the same. And at the same time the codicil thereto attached was proven by the oaths of Thomas M. Waggoner and Luther A. Buckner the subscribing witnesses thereto to have been signed and published by said Buckner as his last will and testament and was ordered to be recorded which is done accordingly.
