Chinn-Wurts-Nichols Cemetery For directions contact The Contributor: Mike Murray recrdman@dreamscape.com Also called Nichols Cemetery #3 {so-named by The Jake & Bertha Savage Book on Greenup County, KY Cemeteries},Old County Road (Riverside Drive) [north of Powell Lane] Wurtland, KY. The graveyard is quite small, and difficult to see from the road if it is overgrown, which is usually is. It is an approximately 25' x 25' plot in about 30 yards north from the road as you face in direction of Ohio River. In 2001 it is noticeable as surrounded by a small wire fence with a solitary tree at north edge in the middle of a field which is sometimes used for corn. This cemetery is in SERIOUS need of repair or upkeep, or someone will eventually plow it under and it will be lost to Greenup County forever.
