Was located far back in the forest in 1946 when my Dad was
pall-bearer for his Grandfather's casket. They drove five miles up a
creek bed then hacked their way through dense undergowth for another
five miles to the old Thacker homestead. 

Known Graves and Family Lore:

Grave:
John Bunyan Thacker, 1866 - 21 Mar 1946. My Great Grandfather

1st Wife same site. Maiden name Oney. "Irish as Paddy's Pig".
 - 13 children by 1st wife including Zack and John.

2nd Wife possibly same site. Named Hannah. Family called her Hanner.
 - 9 children by 2nd wife.
 - Not all children at the cemetary.

Grave:
Zack Thacker, 1892 - 8 Dec 1926. Son of John B. 
 - Bootleg Whiskey Gangster.
 - Found bound & gagged in a rowboat in the Ohio River & the Sheriff
ruled it a Suicide.
 - Zack's brother John went out & killed all six brothers of the rival
Gangster family & then took over as head Gangster. These six would have
therefore died all in quick succession in early 1927 in case there is a
Greenup cemetary with six closely-spaced deaths about that time. 

John was my Grandfather. John was a friend of John Dillinger who came to
John's biergarten parties in Boneyard Holler, Ohio at the height of his
Gangstership.
