This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives :Transcribed by Becky Falin, 1991 ==================================================================== Know all men by these presants that I James Campbell of the County of Greenup, State of Kentucky for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid by Henrietta Campbell, Elizabeth Evans, William R Campbell, Charles C Campbell, James Campbell and Johnson Campbel, all of the county and state aresaid and also in consideration of the stipulation by the last parties above mentioned herein after to be made have bargained, sold, conveyed, ??? and to form last and do by these presents bargain sell confirm ???? and to form lot until the said Henrietta Campbell, Elizabeth Evans, Wm R Campbell, Charles C Campbell, James Campbell and Joshua Campbell the following tract on parcel of land lying and being on Strait creek and its waters it being a branch that enters into the Little fork of Little sandy River and in the County of Carter and one tract contianing some eight hudnred acres more or less being the same on which James Campbell has lived for many years and occupied by Andrew Stewart and Mary Evans the other tract on same Strait Creek aforesaid and by between Antrip Ephraim James and Michael Steewart containing fifty acres more or less to have and to hold the same to themselves, theirselves forever and the said Henrietta Campbell, Elizabeth Evans, William R Campbell, Charles C Campbell, James Campbell and Joshua Campbell in consideration of the aforesaid conveyance to them by James Campbell as aforesaid hereby bind and oblige themselves to privide and furnish the aforesaid James Campbell and Nancy his wife their support and mentioned as follows their necessary clothing, bedding, lodging, ??? and pay the said James ??? from this time forward so long as they or either of them may live respectfully and provided them either medical aid when needed and all other things as they stand in need of them considerations considered given under our hands and seals this 19th day of May 1845.
