Dillow, 71, of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 1997, at Southern Ohio Medical Center's Emergency Room. Born May 20, 1926, in South Shore, Ky., he was the son of the late Rebecca Alice Wroten. He was a retired employee of Frigidaire of Dayton, and owner of Dillow's Appliance Service. He was a member of Dry Run Church of Christ and a Narine veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Norma Smith Dillow a son, David Dillow of Portsmouth four daughters, Anita Butcher and Linda Estep of West Portsmouth, Marla Dillow of Portsmouth and Loretta Bolton of Charlotte, N.C. three brothers, William Dillow of Reno, Nev., Ralph Dillow of Greenup, Ky., and Paul Dillow of South Shore, Ky, and a sister, Thelma Hardin of Prescott, Ariz. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Roy, Vincent, Benny, Clyde, Ernest, and Charlie Dillow, and two sisters, Lola Smith and Goldie Hardin. Services will be held Saturady at 2 p.m. at Morton Funeral Home in South Shore, with Mark Seevers, minister, officiating, and interment in Siloam Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by James Flannery Post 276.
