Edna E. Marshall, 83, of Load, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, in Kings Daughters Medical
Center.

Mrs. Marshall was born Sept. 16, 1912, at Greenup, a daughter of the late
Charley and Samantha Patton Stephenson.  Her husband, Fred Marshall, died in
1883.  A son Stanley Joe Marshall died in 1943.  

She was a charter member of the Load Enterprise Baptist Church.

Surviving are 3 sons, Charley Marshall and Leonard Marshall of Load, and Robert
Marshall of Columbia TN;  6 daughters, Berma Tackett of Load, Evelena Howard and
Margaret Sanders of Lloyd, Leona Eastham of Raceland, Stella Wireman of Lynn and
Ellen Click of Flatwoods;  a brother Cecil Stephenson of Raceland, a sister
Blanche Strunk of Greenup;  24 grand-children and 25 great-grand-children.

The funeral was conducted at 11 am Saturday, Dec. 16 at Load Enterprise Baptist
Church by Paul Martin and Henderson Morris, ministers.  Burial was at the
Quillen-Wireman Cemetery.

Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup was i charge of arrangements.
