Elvin was the son of David Messer and Fannie Angel,he was married to Ruby Jane 
Eggers. During WW1 he was gassed and wounded in France.Promoted to Corpal 3 Oct 1918

 Hello Darrell, I have a photo of my Grandpa Elvin Messer in WW1 on the archives,I 
found out the man next to him is his cousin John Messer bn 20 Feb 1887 
Greenup died 3 Apr 1960.
