LIZZIE JENKINS Mrs. Lizzie Jenkins came suddenly to the end of life on Sunday at 10 P.M. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oliver Flowers, 124 E. 20th Street, in Owensboro. Mrs. Jenkins had visited friends in the afternoon and attended evening services at the First Baptist Church, returning about 9 o'clock. She had retired for the night when suddenly a blood vessel reptured and in about ten minutes she was dead. Mrs. Jenkins was a devoted Christian and mother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Owensboro. Had she lived until January 14, she would have been 78 years old. She had lived in or near Pellville most of her life, having moved to Owensboro fourteen years ago following the death of her Husband, the late John M. Jenkins. She is survuved by her daughter, Mrs. Flowers, and two sons, Otis Jenkins of Owensboro and W. R. Jenkins of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Lula Midkiff of Owensboro, and one brother, Mr. Will Givens of Hawesville. The funeral service, at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, was conducted at the First Baptist Church, by the pastor, Rev. Robt. Humphreys, with internment in the Pellville Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. R. I. Glover, Guy and Embert Barlow, W. A. Glover, P. A. Stephens and Carter Jackson. Additional Comments: VOL.
