Everyone has heard about the cemeteries that still exist despite progress all 
around them.  This is a prime example - the Duncan Cemetery of Elizabethtown, 
Hardin County, KY.  It is located off 31-W (W. Dixie Avenue in Elizabethtown) 
and is about 1 mile north of courthouse square.  Go to Sycamore Street, turn and 
cross the next street,  W. Poplar Street and proceed 100 yards.  Stop and turn 
into the Houchens Markets E-Town Plaza strip shopping center.  On the south side 
of the Houchens Food Market is a low red brick wall.  This is the Duncan Cemetery 
- 5 stones are inside this well groomed and maintained cemetery.
