Lying and being in HARDIN COUNTY on NOLE LINN, about two or three miles below Sandy. Beginning at two large poplars standing on the bank of NOLAN MARKED S.H. Running thence N. 80 E. 285 poles to a stake or some white oak bushes in a valley, thence S. 10 E. 214 poles to two Jack Oaks near the top of a ridge thence S. 80 W. 285 poles to two white oaks, Hickory and Black Oak on the bank of NOLAN. Thence up the several meanders thereof to the beginning. ELISHA FREEMAN March 20, 1795 JACOB (X) SHORT Survey 1247 OLD KY 1247 SURVEY AND AUTHORIZATION Ordered that the county surveyors lay off for ELISHA FREEMAN JR four hundred acres of land. This survey virtue of the entry bearing date Dec 20, 1782.The value I received, I do hereby assign, transfer and convey unto JACOB SHORT all my right, interest, title or claim to the certificate of survey and plat of four hundred acres of land and devise the register of the land office to give the patent in the said SHORT name. As witnessed my hand this 11th day of April, 1795.
