KY Court Order Book C-1 1812-1819 p592 13 July 1819 Commonwealth of Kentucky vs Alexander FLOYD on Information of Bastardy. This day came as well the attorney for the Commonwealth as the Defendant Alexander FLOYD and the parties being heard it is considered by the Court that the said Alexander FLOYD is the father of Jane GOFORTH the bastard child of Polly GOFORTH and that the said child is likely to become chargeable to the County and that the said Alexander FLOYD be charged with the payment of Ninety Eight Dollars for the Support & maintainance of said child to Polly GOFORTH as trustee in the manner following: Fourteen Dollars on the first day of September next Fourteen Dollars on the final day of September 1820 Fourteen Dollars on the first day of September 1821 Fourteen Dollars on the first day of September 1822 Fourteen Dollars on the first day of September 1823 Fourteen Dollars on the first day of September 1824 Fourteen Dollars on the first day of September 1825 provided the said bastard child shall live so long & keep the same from becoming chargable to the County during the said Term.
