D. 1839 between Thomas Robinson and Lucy Robinson his wife of the County of Hardin and State of Kentucky of the one part, and Richard L. Stith, Wm. D. Jones, Stith Saunders, Thomas E. Stith, Gideon W. Gray, Richard M. Stith, and Ezra Stith Trustees and their succesor in office in trust for the use and benefit of the Methodist Episcopal Church at the Big Spring of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Thomas Robinson and Lucy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of One dollar to them pain in hand and other considerations them hereunto moveing hath this day granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these present doth grant bargain seel alien and convey to them the said Richard L. Stith, Wm B. Jones, Stith Saunders, Thomas H. Stith, Gideon W. Gray, Richard M. Stith and Ezra Stith Trustees and their successors in office in trust and for the express use and benefit of the Methodist Episcopal Church at the Big Spring, Meade County, Kentucky a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Meade State aforesaid on the north side of and adjoining the Big road leading from the Big Spring to Elizabethtown and bounded as follows to-wit, Beginning at the south east corner of Ota G. Wrights lot at a stone running thence due north 13 poles to a stake thence due east 13 poles to a stake, thence due south 13 poles to a stake, thence due west 13 poles to the beginning containing One acre more or less with the appurtences thereunto belonging or in any wife appurtaining. To have and to hold to them the said Trustees in trust as afresaid and their successors in office forever. And the said Thomas Robinson and Luch his wife for themselves and their heirs and assigns doth hereby Covenant to and with the said trustees before named in trust for the uses before mentioned and their successors in office, that they the said Thomas Robinson and Lucy his wife have good right and lawful authority in fee simple Additional Comments: This is the 1st page for the 3 pages within the deed.
