William Roy Courtney, 71, died Friday at Audubon Regional Medical Center. He was a native of 
Hardinsburg, a retired employee of Hillerich & Bradsby Co. and a member of Steelworkers 
Local 3931. Survivors: two daughters, Lisa R. Courtney of Louisiana and Lawana Chism; a 
son, Wayne R. Courtney; a brother, Alvin E. Courtney; five grandchildren; and a 
great-grandchild. Funeral: noon Sunday, Schoppenhorst & Underwood Funeral Home, 19th and
Market streets. Burial will be private. Visitation: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday.
