From the Hardin County Enterprise, Elizabethtown, KY, Thursday, April 27, 1972

Edgar Thomas Moody, 72, a retired Upton farmer, died Monday at 2:30 p.m.  at Hardin Memorial 
Hospital.

Survivors incude his wife, the former Lelar Watkins; a son, Robert Alonza Moody, Charlotte, N.C.;
 a daughter, Mrs.  Helen Puckett, Louisville; three sisters, Mrs.  Bertha Gray and Mrs. Lillie 
Kessinger, both of Bonnieville, and Mrs. Lottie Gibson, Upton; five grandchildren.

The body was at Bolton Funeral Home.

Services were conducted Thursday morning at the Falling Spring Baptist Church in Hart County, 
with burial in the Upton Cemetery.
