Squire Bryant Dies After Long Illness
Squire Bryant, 69, died at his home in Harlan yesterday after a long period of
illness.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Dan, Billy, and Jack (Speed Jackson), all of
Harlan, Joe Padgett, Harlan; a daughter, Ollie Bryant, Harlan; and one sister,
Mrs. Missouri Ramey, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mr. Bryant had lived in Harlan for a number of years, being well known in this
area.  He was formerly a miner.

Funeral services will be solemnized tomorrow afternoon at the home.  Burial will
be at Ages, ky.
