OSBORNE Fatally Injured Harlan Daily Enterprise April 28, 1938 Lloyd Huff Osborne, 50 year-old pumpman at Green-Silver Coal Company, Harlan Gas, was fatally injured yesterday in the Green-Silver Coal Co. Mine. He is survived by the widow Mrs. Edith Osborne, two daughters, Mrs. Maxie Cowan, Page KY; and Mrs. Jennie Rowland, Virginia; three sons, Lester and Willis Osborne, Page KY, and Arthur Osborne, Harlan; father Wash Osborne, Virginia; five sisters, Mrs. Rindie Rogers, Visco, KY, Mrs. Mary Fee, Illinois, Mrs. Mrs. Martha Fee, Virginia; Mrs. Lissie Hooker, Loyall; and Mrs. Alice Malton, Gaston, KY; five brothers, Robert Osborne, Garrett Osborne, Henderson Osborne of Virginia, and Morgan Osborne, Harlan, and Gib Osborne, Gulston. The body was taken to Rose Hill, Virginia today at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery tomorrow at 10:00am.
