Cook, aged about 77 years. Born to the wife of Eld. W. G. Eldred, a daughter, Edith Mildred. Mrs. Margaret Donnell, aged 87 years, one of the oldest and most respected women of Nicholas Co. died at her home in Carlisle, Thursday. Survived by four children: C. T. Donnell, James L. Donnell, John Donnell and Mrs. L. T. Potts Horace M. Taylor, one of the most influential citizens of Nicholas Co. has been recently notified that he has been adopted on the staff of Colonel W. B. Haldeman, who was recently elected Commanding General of the Kentucky Division of Confederate Veterans. Mrs. A. B. Mastin died at her home in Nicholas Co. last Tuesday and was buried at Concord. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ehga Alexander, and formerly matron of the county jail. Bradle died at her home in Georgetown, after a brief illness following a paralytic stroke. She was 86 years old. Born to the wife of Joe Ritter Jr, a 10-lb boy. First heir. Mrs. Nancy Tucker, formerly of Butler, died at Bellefontaine, OH aged 61. Conrad Rausch, 71, died July 9th. She was the wife of Coleman Haley whom she survived by ten years. She was the mother of five children, three living: Mrs. C. M. Smith, W. Clem Haley and Charles Haley. She was grandmother of 10 and great grand-mother of four. Burial in Jacksonville. She was born and reared in this neighborhood until eight or ten years old when her mother, Mrs. Richard (Porter ?) Fight, with her children moved to Covington. Born 25 Aug 1885. Survived by parents, a brother, Henry and three sisters: Euphemia, Gertrude and Theresa. Burial in St. Edward’s Cem. Thomas Howk, died at the homeof Mrs. Mary Howk across the river from Cynthiana, Friday. Burial in Battle Grove. He was in his 80th year having been born in 1830. Brother of George Howk of Cynthiana. Survived by a daughter and four sons in OH. Joel Ammerman, died at the home of his son, James P. Ammerman, near Cynthiana Saturday, 16 July 1910. He was born 1822. He is survived by wife, sister of Messrs. Wright and Everett Allen. Only one son living, James P. Ammerman. About two years ago one son, Allie, died and a number of years ago two daughters died; Mrs. Sudie Jameson and Mrs. Ida Renaker. One brother, Philip Ammerman survives. Burial in Battle Grove. Mrs. Polly A. Haley, died near Leeslick Saturday. Jas. E. Clay, died at his home near Paris Sunday. He was the sone of the late “Greybeard” Sam Clay and was born 61 years ago. He is survived by wife, daughter of Charlton Alexander and two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Arthur Hancock, of Charlottesville, VA; Mrs. Miller Ward of Bourbon; Sam and Charlton Clay of Bourbon. W. H. Harris aged 43 years, died at Oddville Saturday. Burial in Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Arabella Hardin wife of T. S. Hardin, died at Latonia, Thursday. She was daughter of J. R. Earle. Burial in Berry.
