Cynthiana Democrat 20 Oct 1910 Thursday Vol. 63 No. 4 6 Pages Pg. 2 Col. 3 Claysville John Nelson Dye, son of the late Charlie and Harriett Hieatt Dye, died at his hom enear Foster, KY, Tuesday 11 Oct 1910, at the age of 66 years and was buried at Lenoxburg. At the age of 34 he married, Lucy, daughter of the late Wade Asbury and to them was born six children, all living: Mrs. Cora Fulton, near Ewing; Quincy, Cincinnati; Mrs. Harriet Donaldson, Covington; Charlie, on the home farm; Tom and Emma Dye, unmarried and living with their father. One sister, Mrs. Matilda Hieatt, Claysville, a half sister, Mrs. Frances Jennette, near Germantown and a half brother, Lawson Dye, who also lived with him. Member of Methodist Church. Survived by seven children: Mrs. Frank White; Mrs. Julia Butler; Mrs. Serelda Devers; Mrs. Lucinda McDaniel, James and Job Hughes of this county; and Mrs. Lizzie Renaker, Dry Ridge. Also survived by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. J. W. Morgan, of Grant Co.; Mrs. Minerva Hughes, of Fulton, MO; Lemuel Hughes, of Covington; Wesley and John Hughes of Wilmore. Edward L. Conway, aged 44 years, died at his home in Bourbon Co. near Millersburg Sunday of typhoid fever. Burial in Millersburg cem. Son of James M. Conway. Survived by wife, who was a Miss Long, parents, three brothers: Frank, Reynolds, and James Conway. John Rankin Criswell, son of Willis Criswell, of this county, died at Harrison Hospital Friday from typhoid fever. Funeral in Curry M. E. Church Burial by Knights of Pythias took place in the Curry Cem. He was about 34 years old. Married Miss Nettie Dunn who survives with two small children. Also survived by father, several brothers and a sister. About a year ago his brother, Veach, died of typhoid fever.
