Harney, the well known and popular Constable in Sylvan Dell precinct, died at his home in the Republican vicinity last Saturday at the age of 59 years. He was a native of this county. He is survivied by his wife, nee Harney, and eight grown children, namely: Messrs. Thomas, Samuel, Lafe and Elzie Harney, Miss Artie Harney, Mrs. Dallie Rogers, Mrs. Addie Neal, Mrs. Nettie Fryman. Buried in Republian Cem. Mrs. George Vaught died at Covington. See Hinton items. Pg. 5 Col. 4 RESOLUTION On the Death of H. M. King ... The Sunrise Lodge of I. O. O. F. regrets the loss of Bro. King. ... L. T. Eckler Luther Foley J. T. Rohr Pg. 7 Col. 1 Connersville The deplorable suicide of J. W. Hutcherson was a terrible shock to his many friend here. Curry Sarah A. Hill died Friday Oct 30. She was born May 11, 1859, and joined the church on 1 Jun 1907. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. V. B. Bell and one brother, Mr. John Hill. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cem. Pg. 7 Col. 3 Richland Rev. Jesse Criswwell, of Wilmore, preached at Benson, Sunday. Miss Alice Roberts, aged 38 died Oct 28 at the home of her father, Mr. John Roberts. She was buried at Benson. Pg. 8 Col. 3 Hinton Mrs. George Vaught died at her home in Ludlow Sunday of that dread disease, consumption. She was buried on Wednesday in the Fight graveyard. She was formerly Miss Ida Courtney, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Courtney of this place. She leaves her husband, parents and several brothers and sisters.
