Cox died in Cynthiana on 15 June. Son of Henry and Adelia A. Cox. Born 19 April 1849. Married Miss Mary R. Land, daughter of G. S. and Emily Land on 30 April 1868 when he was 19 and she was 18. He had typhoid fever the next year and it left him blind. Survived by wife. The two sons: Manville and Charlie died a few years ago. Buried at Battle Grove. Prentice Lebus, brother of Orie Lebus, died in Los Angeles, yesterday morning. Son of Lewis Lebus and Mrs Martha Lebus. Age 39 and unmarried. Burial in Los Angeles. Edward Burke, age about 38, son of David and Ellen Burke, died of consumption in Covington on Monday. Buried at St. Edward’s Survived by sister. Mrs. Chas. Linville and four brothers, Jim, Tom, Charlie and Robert. Roxie Perreaut, daughter of Joe Perreaut, died Sunday of diphtheria. Age 12.
