Log Cabin Friday 21 Jan 1910 Vol. 15 No. 3 Pg. 2 Col. 3 Connersville Born to wife of Phillip Gillspie, nee Crupper, a son. Milford Truitt, an aged citizen died after an illness of several months. Two children, a son and a daughter, survive. Buried in family plot in Georgetown Cem. Eggs on the local market here 30 cents per dozen, butter 25 cents per pound, old hens 10 cents per pound, turkeys dressed 25 cents per pound. J. C. B. Levi bought the only fat hog left in the community at $8 per hundred. Log Cabin Friday 21 Jan 1910 Vol. 15 No. 3 Pg. 5 Col. 3 Deaths Mrs. Anna J. Fields d. 8 Jan 1910 at the home of her son, James T. Pigg. Daughter of William Lang. Survived by two sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Alice Feeback, Mrs. T. J. Smith, James, Johnie and Dr. R. H. Lang of Kelat. Born 12 Jun 1847 and was eighteen months onld when her parents came over to this country from Ireland. On 30 May 1867 she married William Pigg. They had five children; W. A., James T. and Edwin Pigg of Brocton, Ills, Mrs. Ella King of Boyd and MRs. Mattie Gardiner, of Waynesville, OH. ON 15 Nov 1881 she married Isaac Fields and had one daughter, Annabell. She was a member of the Methodist church at Conrey Chapel. Buried in Conrey Cem. John F. Lebus son of Joseph F. Lebus, died in Lexington last Saturday at age of 31 years. Buried in St. Edwards Cem. J. L. Jones d. last Saturday. Age 65. Buried at Battle Grove. Log Cabin Friday 21 Jan 1910 Vol. 15 No. 3 Pg. 8 Col. 1 Purdy Branch Miss Rachel Pope was laid to rest in Republican cem. Saturday, 15 Jan 1910. Log Cabin Friday 21 Jan 1910 Vol. 15 No. 3 Pg. 8 Col. 2 Sunrise Ira[Iva?] and Verna Price gave Clarence McKinney a musical and pie party Saturday night. Those persent were: Grover and Boyers Blackburn, of Havilandsville; Mayme Davis, Grover Beckett, Lola Arnold, Erma and Verna Whalen, Bessie and Cecil Jolly, Joe Fields, Mr. Jim andmiss Edna Hobday of Havilandsville, Garison Baker, Mary Mason, Ettie Price of Richland, Walker and Levi Becket, of Berry, Curt Price, of Richland, Mr. Jim Holland of Avena, Omer Taylor and wife, Mrs. John Arnold and Clarence McKinney. Greene died Tuesday of pneumonia. Age about 17. Survived by parents, two brothers and four sisters. Forest Moore died 1 Jan 1910 of pneumonia. Wife was Jennie Fight.
