Smith and sister of Dr. Edith Smith of Cincinnati. His wife left him on 17 April and filed suit for divorce. Renaker, James Stone, Will McClure, and L. W. Swann as directors, Dr. Gillspie, Treasurer and Secretary and James S. Moore as Sexton. Born to Mrs. Harry Hay in Covington, a daughter. She was formerly Annie Reynolds of Berry. Mrs. E. O. Remington gave a social Satruday evening in honor of her son, Otwell K. Osborne, sho took the famous trip around the world with the Atlantic Fleet. Those from a distance were Mrs. Cliff Renaker and sister, Miss Kate, of Breckenridge, Ray Thompson, of Philadelphia, E. K. Boyers of Frankfort. Mr. & Mrs. E. O. Billiter entertained for supper Monday in honor of Ray Thompson of U. S. Battleship Mississippi, Ralph Thompson of U. S. Battleship Minnisota and Otwell K. Osborne of U.S. Battleship Rhode Island. Others present were Mrs. E. O. Remington, Mrs. Kathleen Hicks, Mrs. Thompson, Mr. & Mrs. Langsdale, Julia Dudley, Elva Earle, Mamie Howard, Kate Renaker, Cox and Ernest Renaker and Hubert Hutton. After supper quite a crowd of young and old came and all spent a pleasant evening. Its secret, he thins, lies in keeping the nineteen commandments following: Eight hours sleep Sleep on right side. Keep your bedroom window open all night. Have a mat at your bedroom door. Do not have your bedstead against the wall. No cold tub in the morning, but a bath at the temperature of your body. Exercise before breakfast. Eat little meat and see that it si well cooked. For Adults: Drink no milk Eat Plenty of fat, to feed the cells which destroy disease germs. Avoid intoxicants, which destroy these cells. Daily exercise in the open air. Allow no pet animals in your living-rooms; they are likely to carry about disease germs. Live in the country if you can. Watch the three D's; Drinking water, damp and drains.
