The building will be of brick and stone, and will cost about $22,000, of the building alone. The Poindexter buildng on the new church site will be razed at once and the work on the new church will be begun as soon as practicable. To Mrs. Geo. Kellar, a boy, first born, on 29 Jul 1910. She was Miss Phister, of Fayette Co. Deaths Miss Marguerite M. Daviess, age 39. d. Suday in Georgetown of typhoid fever. Funeral in Georgetown. Mrs. Mary A. Blackburn, d. 31 Jul 1910 b. 25 Aug. 1829 in Harrison Co. m. Cyrus Blackburn, who died in 1891. d. age 80y 10m 6d. Became a member of the Mt. Gilead Christian Church and later the Richland Baptist Church. Preceeded in death by husband, two brothers and four dauthters. Mother of eight daughters and three sons. She had three sisters and five brothers. Surviving children are: Mrs. Sarah J. Ravenscraft of Poindexter, Mrs. E. E. Parker of Erlanger, Mrs. T. D. Hobday of Falmouth, Miss Addie Blackburn of Cynthiana, William Blackburn of Cynthiana, John and James Blackburn of Havilandsville. Funeral in Sunrise and burial in old Richland Cem. Pryor, age 47, who married sister of Mrs. Jaley Stone, of Berry, he having formerly lived here, was killed in a shot-gun duel at Boone Creek, Fayette Co., Sunday, by Jason Bently. He served four years in Civil was and was a member of Company G, 14th Kentucky Infantry. Survived by eight children: Theodore J., Harlan, Henry Clay, and Garfield, Mrs. Louis Ackman, Mrs. Ellie Martin, Mrs. Desmond Dugan and Helen Morgan. Scott County Mrs. S. A. Allen, d. recently. Burial on Monday. Infant Anderson, d. recently in Harriman, TN, burial on Monday. age 4m. Son of Mrs. Walter Anderson (Ethel Nichols). Will Moffutt, d. in poor house recently, age about 60. Mrs. Emma Wells, d. Recently in New York City while living with her daughter, Mrs. Zach Offutt. Buried in Georgetown. Sunrise The Sunrise Flouring Mill has been purchased by E. C. Elliott and J. R. Arnold. They are stocking up with a large quantity of wheat. They expect to run it for all that is in it. Mrs. Mary Ann Blackburn, funeral was held in Sunrise on Monday at the Christian Church, conducted by Rev. Samuel Foley. She was 81. Maiden name of Browning, a sister of W. G. Browning of this county, Thomas Browning of Dry Ridge and N. B. Browning of Falmouth. Married to Cyrus Blackburn about 60 years ago. She raised 9 children, three boys and six girls, of hwom three boys and four girls survive her. Her husband died a number of years ago.
