He was 38 years old and unmarried. He lived with his sister, Mrs. Frank Lenox in Paris. Survived by another sister, Mrs. Ed Hayes of Covington and several brothers, Fred of Poindexter, Jim an engineer on the L. & N. who lives in Covington, Charley who lives in Richmond and Mike who lives in Cincinnati. Buried in St. Edward's Cem. Cynthiana Democrat Thurs 28 Sep 1911 Vol. 44 No. 1 Pg. 1 Col. 4 MURDERED HIS WIFE In Indianapolis, IN, Monday night, a Negro man named Clark, formerly of Harrison Co. murdered his wife, who was the daughter of Dan Lyons, a colored man of this city. Clark escaped and was said to be headed this way. TESTED HIGH BRIDGE C. C. Horn, brother of A. G. Horn, of Hinton, had the honor of driving the first locomotive across the new High Bridge which spans the Kentucky River on the Queen & Crescent RR, 318 feet above the abutment foundations. Mr. Horn has the distinction also of being the heaviest cab commander in the country. He tips the beam at 450 pounds and is only 33 years old. He is the father of Charles Eales, Mrs. Lafe Endicott, and Mrs. W. B. Payne of this county. Boyce, son of David and Nancy Boyce, was born in Covington, KY, 28 May 1850 and died on 7 Sep. 1911 in Covington at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sylvester Ashcraft. Buried in Williamstown Cem. Pomery Brooks, found hanging from the limb of an apple tree last Saturday. He was about 60 years old. Pendleton Co. Mrs. Charles Malloy, aged about 30, died 13 Sep 1911 in Oklahoma. She is survived by husband, five children, four brothers and five sisters. (Not named.) Robertson Co. Mrs. Jane Browning, widow of William Browning, died at Pinhook on Saturday. She died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Hester, of Hittville, at the age of 82 years.
