She was about 16. Taken to Josephine for interment. Log Cabin 2 Nov 1901 Saturday Vol. 6 No. 44 Pg. 3 Col. 3 Deaths Mrs. Albert Kearns, 36, died at her home in Oddville Friday of heart disease. Survived by husband and one child (not named). Miss Pauline Anderson, only child of J. I. Anderson, died at Leesburg on Thursday. Age 14. Burial at Jacksonville. Noah S. Patterson, 79, died of infirmities of old age, at his home at Broadwell yesterday. Survived by his wife, formerly Miss Agnes Chinn, one son, Mr. Hig Patterson and two daughters, Mrs. D. L. Cobb and Miss Sue Patterson. His deceased children are Jos. and Nannie by his wife and Carrie, Sam and Mrs. Mary Bell Holliday by his second wife. He was brother of J. Levi Patterson and Mrs. Eliza Frazer. John W. Beckett, 59, died at his home near Cynthiana Tuesday. He was born near Kelat and 30 years ago he married Miss Lizzie Kendall of near Hinton. His wife survives with eight children. Mrs. Thomas Rose; Mrs. George Criswell; Mrs. Richard Godman, Walter, Thomas, Jno. J., Joseph and Edward. He was brother of Mrs. Elizabeth Griffith and Mrs. J. M. Thorp of Harrison Co. and Thos. Beckett of Jasper Co. IL. Buried at Battle Grove. Mrs. Minerva Floyd Sedwick, 82 years, 5 months and 26 days, died 18 Oct 1901 at Cynthiana.
