J. J. Haley, died in their home in Lodi, CA on 5 Dec 1911. TB Mrs. Maggie Brent Thomas, wife of Senator Claude Thomas and daughter of Harry Brent, died at Paris, Monday. John Wolfe, aged 50, died near Renaker last Thursday. Survived by wife and four children (not named). W. VanDeren, son of Mr. &Mrs. John VanDeren of this city. The Rev. Mr. Kendrick, pastor of the Georgetown Chirsitian Church performed the ceremony. The best may was Mr. H.S. VanDeren of Nashville, TN, brother of the groom. Among the guest from this city were Mrs. John VanDeren, Sr., Mrs. Allie Wiglesworth and daughters, Elizabeth and Mar Frances, Mr. Journey VanDeren, Mr. & Mrs. J. W. VanDeren, Mr. & Mrs. W. G. Wiglesworth, and Dr. & Mrs. J. H. VanDeren. Patterson - Austin The Paris Democrat: Mr. A. J. Austin, of this county, and Mrs. Mary J. Patterson, of Lexington were married at the home of the officiating minisiter, Rev. Mark Collis, in Lexington. Mrs. Patterson was the widow of Levi Patterson, of Harrison Co. The groom has a splendid farm on the Bethlehem pike wut they will reside in the bride's elegant home 2132 South Limestone Street, Lexington. Witnesses were Mr. & Mrs. E. A. Ford. Ammerman - Metclafe Mr. & Mrs. Newt Ammerman request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their daughter, Mabelle Conner to Mr. Roy L. Metcalfe on 19 Dec in Jacksonville, KY. Cynthiana Democrat Thurs 14 Dec 1911 Vol. 44 No. 12 Pg. 5 Col. 1 Claysville (Ella Minor Hitch) Henry and William Kearns blind brothers of Oblong, IL, gave a religious entertainment, consisting of songs and recitations in the church Sunday night. They are graduates from the college for the blind at Jacksonville, IL having spent twelve years in that institution. They are members of the Methodist Church. They are visiting with relatives in the Sunrise Neighborhood. Mrs. Maggie French Dryden died in Kentontown Friday 8 Dec 1911. Buried in Kentontown. TB Survived by husband and little girl (not named). She ws 40 and survived by husband and 8 year old daughter, Elsie, and one sister, Mrs. Sallie Dryden. Burial in Kentontown. They returend to the home of the groom's father, Thomas Kitchen, on Dec. 6th. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Atwell Eads. Mrs. Bessie Burris Hopkins age 26 died near Little Rock. Married: Dennie R. Powers and Miss Clarine Myers; Willie Perking and Miss Katherine Irvine. Born to E. O. Dorsey and wife, a son. Pendleton Co. Mrs. Dora A. Yelton, wife of J. N. Yelton, died 29 Nov 1911 at her home in Knoxville, TN. She was the eldest daughter of A. L. Caldwell of Pendleton Co. and was born in Demossville, 27 Sep 1861. Mrs. Maggie Utter died 2 Dec 1911 after an illness of two years. Survived by husband, Frank Utter, and three children (not named). Mrs. Nicholas Martz died age 80. Mrs. O. J. Blades died James B. Woods died. Grant Co. J. R. Lemon, former sheriff, died from cancer. Robertson Co. Married at Higgins, Texas, Miss Debbie Florence Hill formerly of Robertson and Mr. Harry Edenborough. D. C. Rigg age 75, died. Eb Workman died near Milford, age 75. Bourbon Co. Mrs. A. O. Boots died age 45 neare Centerville. Mrs. Lula Price, at Escondida, wife of station agent, James B. Price died. Mrs. Mary E. Abbott, age 77 died. Scott Co. Infant son of B. F. Munson at Newton died. Clarence McKnight of Long Lick Pike died, age 7 son of Virgil McKnight. Jno. S. Munson, 42, died near Newtown. Cynthiana Democrat Thurs 14 Dec 1911 Vol. 44 No. 12 Pg. 12 Col. 2 Obituary Annie Laura Mastin born 2 Sep 1900. Her father died when she was 3 and a year later her mother was buried beside him. Her grandparents Mr. & Mrs. James Miller raised her. She was the youngest of three orphans left by her parents. Died of diphtheria on 4 Dec 1911.
