H. Wills died at the residence of her husband on Wilson Avenue, in this city, at an early hour last Thursday morning. The Funeral was held at the residence on Friday afternoon at three o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. W. Elsey and burial followed at Battle Grove. Mrs. Wills was a daughter of Joseph and Martha Howard and was born near Ruddles Mills on January 16, 1854. She became the of Mr. Wills (Richard Hitt Wills) about 39 years ago. She is survived by her husband and four sons, Messers Joe, George, Ed and Richard Wills, all grown. Three sisters also survive, Miss Mamie Howard, Mrs. Carrie McLeod, and Mrs. Mollie Case. Mrs. Wills was a most excellent woman, of beautifuly character, a devoted wife and mother. She will be greatly missed. Page Three of "The Cynthiana Democrat, Thursday July 15, 1909.
