Jensen rkjensen50@hotmail.com October 11, 2010, 10:07 am Source: Harrison, Kentucky Will Book A, Page 308 Written: December 11, 1815 Recorded: January 1816 Will of Mary Turvey Harrison, Kentucky Will Book A, page 308 In the name of God amen I Mary Turvey of the county of Harrison & state of Kentucky being in a very low state of health but in perfect mind & memory thanks be to God calling to mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is ap- pointed for all men once to die do make & ordain this my Last will and testament that is to say Principally and first of all I give & recommend my soul to God that gave it & my body to be buried in decent manner and as touching such worldly Estate were with it has Pleased god to bless me I give and dispose of the same in the following manner: I give and bequeath to my beloved son braxton King all the Personal Property over the appraisment of the estate of my Deceased Husband William Turvey which I have also accumulated by the labour of my own hands also all my Part which may or shall be due me of my fathers Estate to have and to hold all the above named property or money to him (viz) the said Braxton King his heirs, execu- tors administrators etc. from hence forth as his and their proper right absolutely without any manner of condition In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of December on Thousand Eight hundred and fifteen Mary [her mark] Turvey Teste Wm Rayman } Robert McDuffe } John Harding } Harrison County January Court 1816 set This Last Will & Testament of Mary Turvey decd was proved in open court by the oaths of William Rayman and John Harding two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded A.
