Jensen rkjensen50@hotmail.com October 11, 2010, 10:10 am Source: Harrison, Kentucky Will Book A, Page 88 Written: September 26, 1807 Will of William Turvey Harrison, Kentucky Will Book A, page 88 In the name of God amen I William Turvey of the County of harrison & state of Kentucky being sick & weak of body but perfect mind & memory then to be given to god for it and knowing that it is appointed for all men to die do make & ordain this my last will & testa- ment that is to say Principally & first of all I give & recommend my soul into the hand of Almighty God that gave it & my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Execs nothing doubting but at the General resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God & as touching such worldly Estate as has pleased God to bless me with in this life I give devise & dispose of the same to my Dearly beloved wife Mary all my Estate Real & personal to act & do with as she sees fit to do so long as she continues my widow in Case she should marry then it is to be secured for my well beloved son William Except to James King if he returns home a feather bed & furniture & one cow likewise to Braxton King one feather bed & furniture & bed stead one mare & one cow & calf one sow & pigs & one musket gun also to my son William when he arrives at the age of Eighteen a horse Bridle & Sadle likewise to Silas McCandas if he continues with my widow until he arrives to the age of 18 a horse Either of the legatees deceasing without an heir the leg_ to be returned unto the Estate of my widow should outlive my son William he dying without an heir then what is left to be Equally divided betwen Braxten King William E. Harden & Thomas Harden Except a reserve of one quarter acre of land for a burial ground my widow & braxten King to be Executors satisfying & Confirming this my last will & testament In testimony whereof I have set my hand & seal this 26th day of Sept 1807.
