Logsdon Deed to J. H. Kessinger April 1889 This endenture made this 16 day of April 1889 between James E. Logsdon and his wife Eliza A. Logsdon of the first part and J. H. Kessinger of the second part. Witnesseth that the party of the first part for and in consideration of $30.00 thirty dollards, in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. Have this day bargained and sold and by this presents do sell convey and confirm unto the saide party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcil of land with all of its pertaints lying in Hart County KY on the north side of Green River and described as folows viz. Beginning at a chestnut in Andrew Polston's line thence south to a dogwood in said Polston's line also thence west to a stone and a chestnut & posteak pointer in a northerly direction to a chestnut thence south east direction to a Chestnut - Thence to the beginning containing five acres to have and to hold said property with its improvements and appuntenancy There unto belonging unto the said grantee his herse and assigns forever and the party of the first part does further convinant with the party of the second parts that they will warrant generally the title to the property hereby conveyed. In Testimonies where of the party of the first part has hereunto subscribed their names the day and years aforesaid.
