M. Mathews & Frances E. Mathews his wife of Hart County Kentucky of the first Part and Andrew Polston of the County & State aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, in consideration of the Sum of $475.00 four hundred and Seventy five dollards in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby sell, grant, and convey to the party of the second part his heirs and assigns, the following descriped property, viz: A certain tract or parsel of land lying and being in the County of Hart & State of KY on the North Side of Green River and on the Old Carico Road the same being the tract and boundry of land conveyed by Thos D. Jones to I. M. Mathews and for boundy sell Said deed to have and to hole the same, with all the appartenances thereon, to the second party his heirs and assigns, forever, with convenant of General Warranty. Brents Clerk of the County Court of the county aforesaid, do certify that on this day the foregoing deed was produced to me in the county aforesaid and acknowledged and delivered by I. M. Mathews and his wife F. E. Mathews and she being by me Examined separate apart from her husband acknowledged the same to be his act and deed. Witness my hand this 9th day of July 1885 J. M.
